Other Spaces

The Store X The Vinyl Factory in collaboration with the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, Paris present Other Spaces a solo exhibition by United Visual Artists.
Other Spaces featured three site-specific installations highlighting 15 years of practice: Our Time 1 x 5, with music by Mira Calix, The Great Animal Orchestra, a collaboration with bio-acoustician Bernie Krause and Vanishing Point 3:1.
The exhibition’s title is taken from the writings of Michel Foucault and refers to a transitory world juxtaposed to our own. Other Spaces is a unifying theme that binds the three works to a philosophical starting point from which they diverge to consider our perceptions of time, space and of the natural world.
Other Spaces ran from 2nd October until 8th December 2019 at the Store X, 180 The Strand, London.
