Meltdown, London
As curators of the 2008 Meltdown arts and music festival in London, Massive Attack asked UVA to take on a significant visual role.
UVA’s award-winning installation Volume was placed at the heart of the festival, as well as a new large-scale projection in collaboration with the charity Reprieve.
Architectural lighting altered the Royal Festival Hall facade, whereas inside, UVA created a visual score for the Massive Attack shows and the Heritage Orchestra’s performance of Vangelis’ Blade Runner.
