Hereafter - Mori Tower

In addition to the world premiere of Contact, the British Council supported the installation of Hereafter on the 52nd floor of the Mori Tower, Tokyo as part of the launch of UK-Japan 2008.
Hereafter deals with the very human issues of memory and perception - how spaces are changed over time by human presence - or lack of it. The piece resembles a conventional mirror, but upon closer inspection reveals itself to be something else entirely. Hereafter forces viewers to re-evaluate how time continues without our consent or control.
