WWF Pandamonium

Artwise Curators gave 16 internationally recognised artists and designers the iconic WWF panda-shaped collecting boxes to use as a vehicle to increase awareness of our world’s fragility in the 21st Century, and to raise funds for the charity’s continued environmental conservation work. UVA’s contribution, ‘Frozen in Time’, is a window into the delicate and ephemeral moment of a glistening representation of the WWF mascot.
UVA recreated the panda in ice, then allowed it to melt in their studio. This single image remains – the only record of its existence.
